Wines that don’t stain the teeth

Especially after drinking red wines, teeth get a red or purplish look because of the natural dye and tannin used in the preparation of fine wines. Now we don’t expect you to quit your wine drinking habit just for the sake of your teeth. However, if you are tired of the red discoloration your teeth each time you have a glass, then we have mentioned a few good wine alternatives that you can try. It’s definitely better than using wine wipes every time.

1. Riesling:

If you are serious about preventing teeth stains, then white wine is the way to go. This is why we have mentioned the famed German-made Riesling at the top of our list. Made from the finest of white grapes, this wine goes well with the German staple dish of pork and braised vegetables.

2. Muscat:

The next one on our list of wines that don’t stain the teeth is Muscat a.k.a Moscato. This particular wine is known for its strong musky taste and it comes in both sweet and dark varieties. In addition to this, Muscat comes in many different flavors and aromas for you to choose from. Its best enjoyed with a poultry dish.

3. Chardonnay:

You will always find a bottle of Chardonnay in the cellar of any die-hard wine lover. Nothing tastes better after a long hard day’s work than a glass on smooth Chardonnay. You will also find that this particular wine especially compliments seafood and salmon dishes. It also has a slightly high alcohol content, so you will enjoy it best in the chilly autumn weather.

4. Pinot Grigio:

Pinot Grigio is another tasty wine which we are sure you will enjoy. Available in varied flavors of lime, apple, pear, etc. this Italian wine had quickly become one of the popular beverages to be served along with pastas. Not bad with spicy food either.

5. Sauvignon:

Another great wine that is perfect with all seafood dishes. Sauvignon has gained a lot of fame for its pairings with prawns, fish and crab dishes. For those who know, this wine has a distinct flavor which makes it stand out the rest of the wines on our list. It is available in mostly citrus fruit flavors.

6. Viognier:

And last but not the least we have the French Viogner. This wine is the perfect companion for a freshly prepared veal dish. Viognier also comes in many citric flavors, which add to the delicious taste of this particular white wine.
